Dear ATOA Members,

The Executive Board has taken the reviews and input from the members from the 2018 TacOps Conference and have voted to move the ATOA TOC19 from the Shelby County location for 2019. The Shelby County venue has been a great asset for our organization. The men and women from the Shelby County Sheriffs Office and the previous Executive Board have done a phenomenal job planning and executing the conference over the past several years. We are a membership driven association and we want to ensure our members have a voice.

We have listened to our members and we are moving the 2019 ATOA conference to Oxford, Alabama. The dates of the conference are October 15-18, 2019, so be sure to mark your calendar.

We are lining up some great trainers as well as some new training topics. Finding a location for the conference is somewhat difficult as we must find appropriate hotels, a vendor show location, and most difficult is finding the appropriate amount of training sites. The Oxford area has all of these things. We have a great opportunity in Oxford and have a very supportive local government there to help us with the transition. We hope all members will take advantage of the valuable training that the conference will offer. More information will be posted as soon as it is available.

Thank you, guys, for what you do daily. Remember to always seek training outside of what your department provides.

Thank You,
